"In the Midst" Stories

SO WE PRAY - May 2008

     Cindy and I wrote this with a lyric for a wedding of a dear friend of ours. The parents of the bride and groom were going to gather around their children and pray for this new life together. So it was written with in mind. But the lyrics really work with any situation where we are gathered around a friend or family member lifting their life and heart back to where it was formed.

SO WE PRAY - May 2008

Here we are standing with you.

You've given your life to the One who loves you more than anyone.

And so we pray, so we pray.

Praying that everyday

You see the way the His tender hand of grace is on your life.

Remain in Him, and seek His ways.

Breathing the Savior's name

Forever His mercy is pure and true, His love will never fade.

And so we pray, for you this day.

And so we pray.
